Wisconsin state Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald has won his recall election, on the same night that fellow Republican Gov. Scott Walker and Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch won their races.
With 61 percent of precincts reporting, Fitzgerald has 60 percent to Democratic activist Lori Compas's 39 percent.
Also up for recall are three other Republican state senators, in the Democrats' efforts to take a majority in the chamber. At time of writing, all are currently leading in their races.
