Twitter suffered another outage on Thursday afternoon Eastern time, beginning around 4:20 p.m. and lasting till about 4:30 p.m. The company posted an update to its Twitter "@Support" accout explaining the disruption as an "update that temporarily failed." 

All apologies: Twitter was down for some users for nearly 12 minutes today due to an update that temporarily failed. Now, back to work...
