President Obama leads Mitt Romney by one point, 49 percent to 48 percent, according to the latest Politico/George Washington University poll released Monday. Those results represent a three-point turnaround in Obama's favor over the last week, although the results are still within the poll's margin of error. 

The poll showed Obama leading by eight points among those who have already voted and by 11 points among women. Romney leads by 12 among men.

The poll was conducted between Oct. 22 - 25 among 1000 likely voters and has a margin of error of 3.1 percentage points.
