Tagg Romney, the oldest son of Mitt and Ann Romney, assured Republican supporters in Iowa Monday that his father's campaign would respond to attack ads from the Obama campaign, reports the Quad-City Times. “You’ll see us hit back pretty hard,” he said. “We’re biding our time.”

Romney said the campaign is catching up on cash. “Obama] doesn’t want to run on his record,” he said. “We’re catching up in cash on hand. If we’re going to get outspent in June or October, I’d rather it be June.”

Romney declined to discuss Monday's Supreme Court immigration ruling, according to the Times.
