Mitt Romney said that when he looks at what's happening around the world, American influence is "receding." As an example, he said Iran is four years closer to a bomb, there's "tumult" in the Middle East and there are 30,000 civilians dead and Assad still in power in Syria. 

"I don't see our influence growing around the world," Romney said. "I see our influence receding."
