Jennifer Psaki, former deputy communications director for the White House, is rejoining the Obama campaign as Obama's traveling press secretary in July, a campaign official told the Associated Press. 

Psaki began working for then-Senator Obama during his 2008 campaign. She left her position at the White House to work for a public relations firm in Washington. According to the campaign official, she always planned to return for the campaign.
