Saturday's edition of Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling's national tracking poll showed Republican candidate Mitt Romney with 49 percent of the vote and President Obama with 48 percent. Obama's job approval also slipped to 44 percent approve and 52 percent disapprove, ticking downward from three days ago when it stood at 47 percent approve and 50 percent disapprove in PPP's numbers.
