Perceptions of President Barack Obama appear to have improved over the past four years, according to a new Pew Research Center poll released on Wednesday. In searching for the best word to sum up the perception of Obama in 2008, those polled settled on describing him as "inexperienced." This year's poll showed the most popular word is an iteration of "good" or "good man," and "trying" or "tries."
Still, not all votes settled on the positive for Obama. Whereas 30 believed the president was "trying," 25 elected for "failure" and 24 percent said "incompetent."
Pew also noted that Romney's top vote-getters were either positive or neutral, with "honest" (32) and "business/businessman" (31) taking the top two spots. "Rich" tied for second.
