Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) took to the floor of the House on Wednesday calling on the Republican majority to allow an immediate vote on a middle class tax cut extension.
Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX), who chairs the National Republican Congressional Committee and was present while Pelosi spoke, signaled that he wasn't impressed.
"Do I detect your smirk to mean that you don't think Republicans will vote for a middle income tax cut, Mr. Sessions?"
