The Obama campaign is defending the president against Republican attacks using his line about the private sector "doing fine" with a new ad in swing states, reports to the Huffington Post. Unlike most new ads, the Obama campaign didn't publicize the new ad.
The ad shows Obama sympathizing with unemployed Americans and discusses his work to get the economy on track. It ends with a defense against Romney's attacks. "Mitt Romney and his billionaire allies can spend millions to distort the president's words," the narrator says. "But they are not interested in rebuilding the middle class, he is."
The ad is running in Colorado, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Iowa, Virginia, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Florida. You can watch it here.
