Michele Norris will return to NPR in February after taking a sabbatical while her husband worked on President Obama's re-election team. Norris will take on a new role as special correspondent, NPR announced Thursday, focusing on "The Race Card Project." She will also guest host NPR programs.
NPR also announced that Audie Cornish will become a permanent co-host of "All Things Considered," a position she took while Norris was on leave.
