Nebraska Senate hopeful Bob Kerrey raised $1.96 million in the second quarter of 2012 his campaign announced Monday morning. In a press release, the campaign also notes that over $2 million has been spent against Kerrey from outside groups. 

Kerrey's Republican opponent, Deb Fischer, raised nearly $1.29 million in the second quarter and ended with $1.1 million cash on hand.
