Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is expected to return to the office next week after being hospitalized and treated for a blood clot, NBC News' Andrea Mitchell and Bloomberg News reported Thursday.

Clinton was discharged from New York Presbyterian Hospital on Wednesday. Earlier in December, she had the flu and suffered a concussion after fainting at her home.
