On the campaign trail for Todd Akin in Missouri Monday, Newt Gingrich predicted the Republicans who shunned Akin after his "legitimate rape" comments will come back to him as the election looms.

"I believe by mid-October all of them will be in," Gingrich told Akin supporters, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
