Former President Bill Clinton on Wednesday defended his wife, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, on her handling of the aftermath of the attacks in Benghazi, Libya, Capital New York reports:
"I was very proud of what she said [in] a series of interviews, and I think if you look at the committee she appointed to look into this, nobody thinks they're going to whitewash anything," Clinton said. "Those people are genuine heavyweights. They will look into it, they will tell us what happened, what went wrong and what we should do now, and I think we should wait to see what they say."
